Everyone wore the braceletes, Christian artists came out with songs about it, people tried to live their lives different, ect. I also remember the PUSH braceletes, but I dont think they were quite as popular. PUSH stood for Pray Until Something Happens. Well, that is what I have been doing a LOT of lately. I know God answers prayers in His timing and in His will, but patience for that is something i continue to work on. Well, in the last week God has really answered my prayers and provided for us beyond what I could imagine. I dont write this to sound boastful or to seem like I am basking in my good fortune, but only to boast in the Lord!
He is an awesome, awesome God and I cant nor do I think I ever will be able to grasp His love for me! There is a song called “Hosanna” where my favorite line is”…show me how to love like YOU have loved me…” Our pastor stated once that God’s love is a perfection of our worldly father’s love. A lot of people have had bad fathers ( I was so blessed to have a great father), and they just cant seem to relate God’s love with a father’s love for his children. The idea of a perfected love really struck home.
So, pray until something happens..and then KEEP on praying! we may not understand things in our lives, but God has not, nor will He ever forget us..that is His perfect love!

I dont know if I will be able to figure out all the bells and whistles of it, but I most certainly will try! It’s a little hard blogging while taking care of a four and a half month old, but I will do my best!
As I am writing this I am repeatedly reminded of the movie “Juno” where Juno’s best friend always says, “Honest to Blog”! I have a feeling that my blogs will be very “honest to blog” b/c as a new mom I am filled with all sorts of things to blog about..such as loosing baby weight, everybody judging everything you do with your baby (oh yes, that includes total strangers), recipe ideas, budgeting ideas,fun and exciting things your baby does , ect! So, stay tuned…there will be plenty to come!!
